Finally, avoid smoking cigarettes and eating spicy and sweet foods. These will only aggravate your gum disease. Regular smoking of cigarettes causes you immune system to get weak. Once you lose your defences, you will get sick. Therefore, you must avoid or stop the habit. Ensure as well that you get proper nutrition such as taking vitamin C to boost your immune system. Eating nutritious food will also help.
